These two are awesome!! I loved every.single.image we produced and can’t help but share a big chunk of them on the blog!!

We met up at Stewart Farmhouse on a gorgeous evening. The afternoon had been super beautiful and as I drove to the Farmhouse I had to put my wipers on a handful of times… but off to my right I saw a beautiful pink sky in the distance! I prayed the entire way there that we’d get less of the wet stuff and more of the pink!! When we started shooting these big fluffy clouds rolled in but they were white and fluffy so I was actually pretty happy to see them When the golden light from that time of the evening came along, it made the clouds look amazing! So, we played with them a little
These two are such a beautiful couple. Their love for one another shines through in every image, and I cannot wait to work with them again!!

Gemma-Rose and Zachery! I’m so glad we got to work together. Can’t wait to do it again

Baby A-(South Surrey Newborn Photographer)

Over the last 5 or 6 months, I’ve really been thinking about where my photography business is headed. I’ve been thinking that I should probably choose a ‘specialty’ and focus primarily on that area. I’ve been having a really hard time with it because I love all aspects of photography and I especially love being a part of such precious moments in peoples lives.
I have been really playing around with the idea of focusing primarily on weddings, engagement and boudoir. I love photographing family and babies, but feel that I am ‘better’ at photographing weddings/engagement/boudoir. I thought that I was all set and ready to re-brand and make the switch but after I got the disc to this wonderful family and received this fabulous email… I’m not so sure I’m ready to stop photographing babies/families!!

Firstly thank you so much for going out of your way to bring the pics over. I don’t know if I was emotional from being in hospital all week, but I cried a bit looking at them. I loved seeing the pics of all my girls, they look so beautiful and you captured them so well. And all the little parts of Amelie, her feet, hands, mouth, so I never forget them as she grows. I love the black and white one of her and I at the end of the disc. You are so talented its ridiculous. What a shame for parents if you stop doing newborn and family photos, you have a way of capturing the spirit of each child and person that I don’t think other photographers do.

I have to say. *I* cried when I read these beautiful words. This is why I love my job. Of course, I love photography in general. Everything about it makes my heart swell. But to play such an important part in preserving these very precious moments for families, it’s such a huge honour and I love every bit of it.

Baby Belly-(South Surrey Maternity Photographer)

On Saturday morning I met up with one of my favorite families to photograph this very beautiful baby bump!! Stewart Farmhouse was exceptionally chilly on this wintery morning. Frosty grass and beautiful clear skies.

Can’t wait for this little one to make her appearance!
