M+A Wedding-UBC BOATHOUSE WEDDING

Our morning started off in South Surrey.  Maria and her best friends spent their morning drinking mimosas and laughing together.  Everything was perfect, calm and just an all around great time.  Her custom dress was absolute perfection, all the beautiful details and added touches that were just so perfectly her.

Adam got ready on site at UBC Boathouse in Richmond.  What a great venue.

Fun fact, Adam was actually a groomsman in a wedding I photographed for one of his groomsmen the day before.  It was a busy weekend for these guys!!

Their ceremony was absolutely perfect.  The set up was simple but just the right amount for this gorgeous, natural setting.  Vinelli with The Power of Threee Event Planning kept everything running smooth the whole time 🙂 We stayed at UBC Boathouse for wedding party photos and then made our way to Minoru Park for a few photos of Adam and Maria on their own.  We kept things quick and simple so they could spend as much time with their guests as possible 🙂

The colours and decor were just the right touch for this beautiful reception venue.

My favourite part about this venue is the absolutely stunning sunsets we are sure to capture over the river.  I always recommend taking 10 minutes away from your reception to take advantage of that golden sunset light.  Golden hour is the absolute perfect time for photographs, and it’s a great opportunity for a couple to be able to just take a breather and reflect on the day they’ve had together.  It goes by so fast.
